Situated on the water’s edge and enjoying outstanding uninterrupted views out to see and across the rugged coastline is Sound of the Sea, a beautifully presented 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a large sea-facing balcony. Our favourite spot to soak up the sound of the waves crashing below.
The apartment is just a few minutes stroll from the picturesque harbour and seafront restaurants and bars and the working quay.
Sound of the Sea is ideally located to explore the North Devon coast with Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands within a few miles.

Floor to Ceiling View
The two words we hear the most are “that chair” We’re not sure when it’s at it’s best, on a blue sky day with the sun reflecting off the water, or on a stormy winter morning, cosy with a hot drink.
Sea-facing Balcony
With uninterrupted views out to see, Capstone Hill and the rugged coastline, the large sea-facing balcony is a fantastic spot for lunch or a glass of something as night falls with the sound of the waves crashing below.
Kitchen
Open to the living space with its own window looking out to sea. The fully fitted kitchen, with table and seating for 4, means preparing drinks and meals keeps you close to your family and friends. There is an integrated dishwasher (as no-one wants to wash up on holiday!) and a full size integrated fridge and freezer.
Living Space
The real hub of this wonderful apartment is the spacious open plan living room/kitchen/diner. The large super comfy sofa also has a great view out to sea, so no need to fight over who gets “the chair”
50″ Smart TV, DVD Player, WifI and a selection of games.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Sound of the Sea sleeps upto 4 adults in one king and one twin bedroom. The King bedroom has it’s own en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room off the main hallway. Both rooms are situated at the back of the apartment with views across the town.

“As we entered our accommodation I was blown away by the view”
The accommodation was clean, bright and modern. We used the parking permit for the week which was a great help and made our visit seamless. All in all I would recommend this accommodation.
“Absolutely amazing property”
My family of four stayed for an Easter week at this wonderful modern property, with amazing sea/cliff/rock views! The lovely balcony is North facing, so when the sun sets you still see a great sky and sometimes even a rainbow. Everything was really clean, kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The property is in a great location with the nearby walks to Capstone Hill/local beaches and Harbour nearby and a short drive to Woolacoombe beach! We really enjoyed a lovely relaxing week there and would definitely look to return another time!

Although designed for four guests, with just two of us the accommodation is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and it is great to look straight out on the sea in all its moods!
